  • Curtin University, a public research university in Bentley, Perth, Western Australia, is in the top one per cent of universities worldwide. The university's Australian campuses are Perth, Kalgoorlie, Midland, Murray Street and St. Georges Terrace. Five main faculties and 95 specialist centres offer undergraduate, postgraduate and research opportunities. 
  • Engineering, Geosciences, Energy and Fuel, Public, Environmental and Occupational Health, Chemistry, Economics and Business, Agriculture and Environment, Mining and Minerals and Architecture are some popular courses. 
  • With an acceptance rate of 49%, admissions happen twice a year based on previous academic performance, TOEFL scores, IELTS, PTE etc., if needed, and work experience, if any. International students must submit the Genuine Student Assessment Form with their application as part of the SSVF requirement through the online portal. Academic Transcripts, Graduation Statements (AHEGS) and Award Certificates are also submitted. 
  • On-campus accommodation for students in 1000 single and shared rooms is available at 152- 336 AUD per week. Curtin has its bus stations connected to the public transport network, and TL Robertson Library has the John Curtin Prime Ministerial Library collection. 
  • The average tuition fee ranges from 27200 - 38000 AUD, depending upon the program chosen. Scholarships to international students amounting to up to 25% of the first-year tuition fee are available along with other merit-based scholarships like Australian Year 12 Scholarships and Destination Australia Scholarships. Curtin graduates are offered great job opportunities in various fields with an average salary of 201,000 AUD for an MBA and 168,000 AUD for an Executive Masters.

The general eligibility which is required for students to achieve in order to be considered for admission are as follows :

  • CBSE/ ISC with 60 percent in the highest four courses plus 60 percent in English OR High School with 65 percent conferred by recognised Higher Secondary Education Boards. 
  • All overseas students who come from countries where English is not spoken or who do not speak English as their first language must demonstrate their ability by English language tests or certifications.
