- Established in 1973, Murdoch University is a public institute located in Perth, Australia. Over 23,000 students are enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs in 9 study areas, namely, business, engineering, and Teaching.

Student work placements are an extended amount of time spent working on a defined programme under appropriate workplace supervision in the workplace of a host organisation. Students perform unpaid labour to fulfil the criteria of a vocational placement while earning academic credit for their course. Murdoch University has a great atmosphere and is a welcoming, inclusive and safe campus. The facilities are great, the faculty are helping and the placements are plentiful. The food is good, housing is always available and the cost of living is affordable.

Murdoch University is one of the best universities in Australia, and I'm happy to have been offered a place there. It offers an inclusive nature, friendly campus, on campus housing, off campus housing, good faculty, food and placements. The living expenses are also very reasonable and helpful.
