  • Established in 1845, the National University of Ireland is a federal system of various Constituent Universities under the Universities Act 1997. The university manages 19,000 local and international students enrolled in more than 50 graduate, postgraduate, research, and part-time courses.
  • The university is divided into five colleges (Social Sciences, College of Arts & Celtic Studies; College of Medicine, Nursing, & Health Sciences; College of Science and Engineering; Adult Learning and Professional Development; College of Business, Public Policy, & law) and 16 schools like School of English Creative and Arts, School of Health Sciences, School of Education, School of Engineering, and many more. Buildings designated for Human Biology, Biomedical Research Center, and Institute for Lifecourse and Society are located on the north campus.
