Reputable institutions, including the Association of MBAs (AMBA), EFMD Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, have officially accredited more than half of Newcastle University's degrees (AASCB). A 75 percent average in Standard XII is usually considered equivalent to ABB at A level.

Typically, we consider 60% of section 1 universities, 62 percent of section 2 universities, and 65 percent of section 3 universities to be comparable to a 2.1, and 58 percent of section 1 universities, 60% of section 2 universities, and 63 percent of section 3 universities to be comparable to a 2.2.

Undergraduates and graduates can find catered/self-catered accommodation in flats, houses, en-suites and traditional rooms in Park Terrace, Turner Court, Marris House, Grand Hotel etc. Newcastle University has over 190 societies revolving around theatre, music, art, debating fitness and more, and 65 sports clubs. Campus fitness facilities include a gym, sports courts, cycling studio, sports halls, pitches etc.
