It was initially founded as a Civic College and, in 1948, by Royal Charter, changed its name to Nottingham University. I attended a talk at the university of Nottingham in the summer, and felt like I was in a completely different world. The building itself is huge, but you immediately feel like you are made to feel welcome and immersed in the atmosphere. Once you get closer to the building, you can see how stylish it is and all of its modern features. This is definitely one of my favourite place.
