The University of Strathclyde has course-specific and country-specific entry requirements for international students. Indian aspirants need the following qualifications as per course/program:
- Undergraduate Admissions: Candidates applying for any undergraduate degree should have a minimum score of 70-75% in Grade 12 and an overall IELTS score of 6.5.
- Postgraduate Admissions: Applicants should have a first-class undergraduate degree from a recognized institution with a minimum score of 60% and an IELTS score of 6.5 overall. Graduates from the IITs and IIMs are considered for admission with an average of 55%. If you are applying for a research program, you are required to have a master’s degree and relevant research experience.
- MBA Admissions: A bachelor’s degree is required from a recognized institution with an IELTS score of 6.5 overall. GMAT score is not the standard requirement, however, applicants can submit the score if they believe it will strengthen their profile.

I've been fortunate to benefit from the diversity and feel really comfortable in what is such a friendly community. The staff are always helpful, academics are well-informed, education is competitive and there are plenty of scholarships available to help with living costs.
