Criteria for Paid Work Term

 

  • The Paid Work Term is 14 weeks long and lasts 420 hours. It takes place over the summer before Semester 7. (between years 3 and 4)
  • The placement must be relevant to the curriculum and degree programme.
  • The student is responsible for understanding and following the requirements of the Paid Work Term component of the programme.
  • Students are assisted by Placement Advisors in securing their placements.
  • One-on-one employment coaching and job search strategy sessions are available in the Business Career Development Class.
  • Students and employers receive ongoing support while they are on the job.

1. North Residence

 

The two residential buildings on Humber's North Campus include:

  • Traditional Single Rooms 
  • Suite Style accommodation (priority will be given to returning residents).

The entire neighbourhood of Humber North has all the amenities on-site. The Residence has three interconnected residence buildings with space for more than 1,000 students, and it is situated beside the lovely Humber Arboretum.

 

2. Lakeshore Residence

 

The Lakeshore Campus living hall at Humber has:

  • Suite Style accommodation
     

The Lakeshore Campus, located west of downtown Toronto, features picturesque lakefront parkland, bike routes, and historic buildings.
