University Ranking

Territorial Normal School, the predecessor to Arizona State University (ASU), was established in 1885. Arizona State University was subsequently established in 1958. Additionally, the calibre of its research and teaching has continuously improved. THE, a ranking system that places a strong focus on instruction, research, and citation, fell Arizona State from 126th place in 2018 to 184th position in 2021, but it again recovered its position with a 132nd rank in 2022. The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU, Shanghai Ranking), which places a high value on faculty quality and research output, continuously ranked ASU between 101 and 150th from 2016 to 2021.

Arizona State University has produced outstanding results in both its teaching and research. This is seen in the US News rating of the greatest national institutions, which places it at 103rd place among US universities, a rise of 14 points from the previous year. However, in 2022, its ranking once more declined to 117th place. When it comes to the US News global rankings, Arizona State has constantly held its position up until 2022, when it dropped to number 165 from the previous 146. The rating rose with 132nd position in 2022 despite THE, which lowered it from 131 in 2017 to 184 in 2021.

I'm a current student at Arizona State University and I love it! The professors are always available to answer any questions or talk about their research. I'm in the Honours Program here, which is really great, but even if you're not, ASU is an amazing school to go to.

I studied a lot of other schools before choosing Arizona State University. I was worried about the schools location, tuition, and books but when I learned that ASU is a public university with 17 colleges, 100+ graduate and undergraduate programs, and has over 350 undergraduate majors to choose from...I knew it was the school for me.
