- Established in 1906, Suffolk University is a private research university located in Boston, Massachusetts. It was founded as a law school and became a university in the 1930s, offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs. It now holds accreditation by the New England Commission of Higher Education American Bar Association and others. The university has its main campus in Beacon Hills surrounded by nine buildings and is named one of the Princeton Review's best business schools.
